The final verdict on this
A cozy spot with charming vintage vibes! The lobby features a warm fireplace and offers free tea and coffee all day. Rooms are spacious, clean, and include a fridge and microwave. While there's no restaurant on-site, breakfast options are reasonable, and it's a lovely 20-minute walk to downtown. Ideal for families seeking comfort!

it was good value for money!
the breakfat room wasnt serviced properly. The poor guy was trying to check people out and replenish food & coffee etc. There were no knifes, the bin was overflowing, the cart for dirty dishes was full so people put them on a side table. The counter where food was, was covered in cereal, crumbs & messy, so was the floor. The whole time we sat having breakfast the tables were never wiped. I think having another member of staff helping would have solved these problems.

I had the deluxe queen room which was well-designed with a balcony. The staff were attentive, respectful, would love to come back here some time. The venue's position was central.

The superior queen room was spacious and comfortable. The communal living room with big windows offered fine mountain views, perfect for breakfast. We loved the breakfast to-go option for just 5 cad, with fresh pastries and juice. The drinks station was a nice touch, too. The on-site sauna was relaxing!

The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful mountain areas, and the cozy fireplace in our deluxe room added a nice touch to our stay. We appreciated the clean and quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to unwind after a day of adventure. Plus, having a breakfast to-go option that was both delicious and reasonably priced was a significant bonus.

We arrived 3 hours earlier than the 4:00 check-in but were welcomed, given coffee and reading materials, nice conversation with the staff, then once our room was ready, given the keys and directions where we could park the car. What a great first impression! After a bit of sight seeing and a meal we returned for a relaxing sauna then quiet time - my kids in the room with TV, laptops and the gas fireplace ... and me in the lodge area in front of a roaring wood fire, a cup of soothing tea and the company of other fellow travellers. Breakfast was great: plenty of good food, a very clean dining area and the Remembrance Day ceremony was on the big screen tv. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the price was incredible - great value!
I could find nothing wrong and look forward to more weekend getaways there!

Very good. Extremely friendly front desk person called Ellen. Rooms cosy with a gas fireplace which was much appreciated as it was VERY cold outside. Breakfast was good with the normal choices. Would recommend this hotel highly. There is a lovely room with a huge fireplace and comfortable chairs to sit and enjoy the view from.

It is a really nice hotel for the price. It is next to the road but we couldnt hear any traffic during our stay. Spacious rooms, beautiful bathroom and fireplace in the winter periode. Parking was for free and hotel is close to some restaurants as well. A good location to discover Banff N.P. and Canmore city is much more relaxing and nicer than Banff. The city center and a genreal store is 10 minutes walk.
Some hotel employees were still in the learning curve and due to that the service was professional, but they were always helpful and provided good trips.
